I'm Gonna Tell You What . . .

"You Killed It!"

- Mike Huckabee

"John Floyd is clean, funny and a blast to work with."

-Dave Coulier

"You do it very well."

-Tommy Chong

John first did stand-up comedy in a school talent show when he was only eight years old and he has been entertaining audiences ever since. He has taken the stage over 5,000 times in front of more than two million people and has worked with Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winners. John has also been the warm up comedian for Mike Huckabee's TV show.

He has worked with every comedian from legends such as Milton Berle, Soupy Sales and Tommy Chong to current stars like Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Jamie Foxx. John has also shared the stage with numerous music acts including Michael Bolton, Frankie Valli, Herman's Hermits, Styx, Chubby Checker and Martina McBride.

Just some of the companies and organizations John has entertained include Hardee's, Wells Fargo, Coldwell Banker, Aetna, The United Way, IBM and Met Life. He has appeared on CBS-TV's "Central Park West" and was a semi-finalist in the HBO Aspen Comedy Festival. John is the author of three books including "I'm the South" which has sold in the top 0.050% of all books ever published.

John has been called modern day versions of Mark Twain and Andy Griffith. Though his accent is as thick as a bowl of grits, his act is not regional. In fact, his carer has taken him to all 50 states and over two dozen countries. He has been a regular entertainer for Carnival Cruise Lines where his ship received the highest comedy rating in their fleet in both 2007 and 2009. John is very funny but not at all offensive. He was a finalist and voted audience favorite in the 2013 Clean Comedy Challenge and was runner-up in Dave Coulier's Clean Guys of Comedy Unbleepable Contest. So you can rest easy knowing that he will have your audience rolling in the aisles instead of sweating under their collars.

John says the men in his family have always been funny and great story tellers. He's just the first one to do it on a stage instead of a front porch.
